Vestia ranojevici moravica is the endemic subspecies, known from the Hostýnské Vrchy Mts., Beskydy Mts., Oderské Vrchy Mts., and Podbeskydí region. There were only three localities formerly known in the Hostýnské Vrchy Mts. During our research, 30 potential localities in the Hostýnské Vrchy Mts. were surveyed so far. On 20 localities the occurrence of Vestia ranojevici moravica was confirmed.
