Preface to the Vol 1

The first volume of journal Malacologica Bohemoslovaca was printed in 2002 under the name "Československá slimač".

Editorial board was formed by:
RNDr. Michal Horsák
Luboš R. Kolouch
Mgr. Vladimír Vrabec

Journal was published by the Czech university of agriculture in Prague, Kamýcká 129, Praha 6 -- Suchdol, for printing was prepared by Vladimír Vrabec.

Some small modifications were done in the on-line version, but pagination of all articles is consistent with the printed version.
